Up for sale is an antique Handwrought Socket Gouge Chisel. It measures 16" long overall and 1 7/8" wide. It is signed: L.H. WATTS NEW YORK. Work dates 1843 to 1885. Whittled hardwood handle. Light sweep, about a #5. It has been lightly cleaned but not sharpened. Great collectable. Please look at all the pictures to help with description and condition.
