A FOUNDER'S GRADE 2 7/8" WIDTH CUTTING IRON for a "Kunz" No. 112 scraper plane by Tresselt GmbH, Rossbreitenbach, Germany. This unused iron, which came from a Kunz No. 112 plane is marked at the top with the distinctive Kunz logo. This iron is also the appropriate size for the Stanley No. 12, 12 1/2 and 112 scraper planes and it could be put directly to use in a Kunz or Stanley plane. As good as they get.
