An ORIGINAL 1 15/16" (48 MM) WIDTH "TOOTHING" IRON FOR A WOODEN PLANE by E.C. Emmerich, Remscheid, Germany. This iron, which was produced for the "Ulmia" line of planes measures nearly 2" in width and it would work with a 2" width "toothing" plane produced by a British or American maker.
