An UNUSED 1 1/2 M.M. "PLUGGING" CHISEL, No. A720, by Two Cherries, Remscheid, Germany. These specialized chisels, which were also produced with a 2 mm thick blade, were used for the fitting of specialized window sash hinges. The cutting edge measures 1 3/16" in width. The complete process of fitting and mounting the hinges is shown in the Youtube video, "Fitschen, Fitschenbänder einstemmen, Lappenbänder für Türen und Fenster". The video is in German, but the use of the chisel is clearly illustrated. A most interesting and unusual specialized woodworking tool in unused condition with its original Two Cherries sticker.
