An ORIGINAL "EBONIZED" FINISH REAR HANDLE for a Stanley No. 4 or No. 4 C smoothing plane by STANLEY. This handle, which came from a "Type 17" Stanley plane, was produced during the Second World War when access to tropical hardwood was severely limited.
