ANTIQUE / PRIMITIVE WOODEN PLANE, 1800’s England/New England? Stamped M. _ R. • Stamped; “M. R.” Need stronger magnification because there may be another letter in between these two. • We believe this to be made in New England or England. • Appears to have been made from one (1) piece of wood. Split in middle; was this intentional or a repair? We are not woodworking experts; so we are open to suggestions and will update our advertisement accordingly. Other than that; it appears quite attractive to us; certainly as a beautiful display piece that definitely looks vintage and primitive. Dimensions: Length = 10 17/32” Width = 1 1/8” Body Height = 3” Overall Height = 5” ...ave. wear, with a few scratches, etc. ........measures approx. 9 1/2" long, and 5" high (3" body of wood).......please check the photos closely, as I'm not a tool expert......
