A FULL SET OF SEVEN CAST IRON DADO PLANES, all by Sargent & Company, New Haven, Connecticut. These planes, which were Sargent's answer to the Stanley No. 39 plane, but far less common, are all in clean and complete condition. The one-inch width size, No. 38, retains about 80% of its original black japan finish and the others all retain 90% or more. Examples of the No. 32, 33, 34, 35. 36, 37 and 38, all complete and in excellent condition, are included in this grouping.
