An ORIGINAL STAINED BEECH HANDLE AND CAST IRON BASE for an Upson Nut No. 26 transitional jack plane by the Upson Nut Company, Unionville, Connecticut. The wooden handle is secured from with a screw to the caset iron base and the base is secured to the plane body with four screws through the base.
