Specifications

An ORIGINAL 2 1/4" LEVER CAP for an early type Stanley No. 5 1/2 plane. The No. 5 1/2 was changed to the same 2 3/8 inch width as the No. 4 1/2, 6 and 7 in the early years of the Twentieth Century. This old style version measures 2 1/4 inches in width. It is cast with the Stanley name inside the Notched Rectangle logo and has the pre-kidney shape opening for the fixing screw.
