An EXTRA CLEAN AND EARLY ORIGINAL FROG MECHANISM for a Stanley No. 4 or 5 plane, "Type 2" by STANLEY. This frog has the early solid brass adjusting nut used on only the earliest Stanley planes. The original roundhead screws and washers to secure the frog to the plane body are included as well. Fully 95% of the original black japan finish remains on this clean and ready to use frog.
