Up for Buy it Now auction is this rare antique Tower & Lyon Chaplin"s Pat. No. 5 adjustable throat wood plane. Plane is 9" long and 2-3/8" wide, size of a Stanley no. 4. Complete plane with no cracks or repairs to the casting. No cracks in the wood front knob. Composite tote has a mark on the back of it looks like it may have been repaired(see photos). Looks like a repaint job but nicely done. Has a neatly done previous owners mark near the logo on the cutter. Check out the photos and message me if you have any questions.
