Vintage Stanley No 3 Type 17 Smoothing Plane, 1942-1945 WW2 Era INV16516 Here we have a nice Stanley No. 3 smoothing plane. The blade assembly appears be original. Japaning is 98% or so. Knob and tote are in good shape with no cracks. Has the hard rubber depth adjuster and steel tote and knob screws. The blade is marked 2 45 making this plane likely assembled in the spring/summer of 1945. It is in very good-excellent condition. Please see the pictures. Please note that most of the items I have for sale are used/vintage goods. You should expect some wear or minor imperfections. I try to describe as best I can but will miss things on occasion.
