An ORIGINAL BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD FRONT KNOB for an early type Sargent No. 418 fore plane or No. 422 jointer plane by Sargent & Company, New Haven, Connecticut. This knob, which came from a "Type 1" Sargent jointer plane, is absent any chips, cracks or other apologies and could be put directly to use.
