A FOUNDER'S GRADE LATER TYPE FROG MECHANISM for a Sargent No. 410 heavy smoothing plane, No. 418 fore plane or No. 422 jointer plane by Sargent & Company, New Haven, Connecticut. This 2 3/8" width frog is in essentially unused condition and could be put directly to use restoring a plane having a missing, damaged or degraded frog.
