An ORIGINAL FRONT KNOB AND REAR HANDLE for a Stanley No. 4 or 4 C smoothing plane by STANLEY. This handle, which has the stained hardwood finish used during the Second World War when the supply of rosewood was very limited, is in excellent condition, retaining fully 90% of its original lacquer finish.
